These PureAir HEPA filter bags are made for the Kirby V530 — large capacity so you clean more and change bags less, HEPA filtration for the fine stuff, and Kirby's PureAir Seal to keep captured dirt shut inside the bag when you pull it out. Each pack includes two pre-motor filters as well, so you have the full filtration refresh on hand.

Please note: these are the upright bags. They do not fit the Kirby Signature Series C530 or C550 canister vacuums — those take the Signature Series Canister filter bags (part S10044). They also do not fit older Kirby Home Cleaning Systems such as the Avalir, Avalir 2, Avalir Platinum, Sentria, Sentria II, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, G3, G4, G5 or G6, which use Micron Magic / MicroAllergen Plus bags with an F-style or Twist-style collar — a completely different fitting. Why HEPA filtration matters

A vacuum is only as clean as its exhaust. The PureAir HEPA media traps fine dust, pollen, pet dander and dust-mite debris inside the bag instead of letting it drift back into the room while you clean. If anyone in the house deals with allergies or asthma, this is the part of the vacuum doing the most quiet work.

Easy, tidy bag changes

The rigid collar snaps into place, so installation is quick and you're not left guessing whether it seated correctly. When the bag is full, the PureAir Seal closes it off as you remove it — no puff of dust on the way to the trash can.

How often should you change the bag?

For most homes, every one to three months is about right, though pet owners and busy households go through them faster. Don't wait until the bag is packed solid: airflow drops as the bag fills, and airflow is what actually lifts dirt out of your carpet. A good rule of thumb is to swap the bag once it feels about three-quarters full, or as soon as you notice suction falling off. Change the pre-motor filter about every third bag — which is exactly why two come with these six.

Aftermarket look-alikes often use thinner, non-HEPA media and collars that don't seat tightly, which lets fine dust bypass the bag and reach the motor.
